OLD MAN EMU STEERING STABILIZER:

As another integral component of Old Man Emu's four-wheel drive suspension range, steering stabilizers are designed to reduce the effect of wheel vibration and improve the feel, handling and control of the vehicle. They will also reduce the aggressive rotation of the steering wheel over rough roads without affecting steering wheel return.

DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT:

Superchips radically expands its Jeep performance tuning lineup with the release of the Trail Jammer EXT system including Flashpaq, throttle body, and cold-air intake kit. Superchips offers the new Trail Jammer system for Wrangler (TJ) and Cherokee (XJ) vehicles that have the fuel-injected 4.0L straight-six engine (late availability for XJ). This comprehensive air/fuel kit improves power by up to 18%. Superchips’ dyno-testing on a 2006 Wrangler with a 5-speed manual transmission showed baseline rear-wheel output of 140 HP/184 ft-lb of torque.

Being one of the hottest summers in the Greater St. Louis area, it was only a matter of time before the subject of cooling high-performance vehicles came up. The slow pace of Jeep and 4x4 vehicles on the trail only make the problem worse. Axle Boy Off-Road’s Scott Carline investigated the current status of the cooling system market-what’s new, what’s hot (cool) and what are the best practices for keeping your ride cool!

The Handling Pack Includes:

Specially Tuned Shocks and Struts . They are tuned to optimize the ride and handling of the lowering springs.

Lowering Springs that lower the car approximately 1 inch

Special jounce stops add ride comfort and stability when using the lowering springs

The sway bars are adjustable and are specifically designed for the V8 Mustang and its specific handling dynamics. They reduce body roll and increase steering response.

Axle Boy Performance Offroad Services another lifted JK Wrangler in the St. Peters Missouri area.

The remanufacturing division recently completed the first of many Tug 660 Drive axle overhauls. This program reconditions the front Dana 44 based steering axle and the rear Dana 60 based drive axle. The units are stripped bare, internal bearings and seals are replaced, housings cleaned and reconditioned. The gearsets are tested and brake systems overhauled. Final assembly and Dynometer testing and recoating the assemblies wtih a fresh coat of Industrial powertrain black paint.

Axle Boy technicians finished up an intense diagnostic training program for Ford Powerstroke Diesel. Keeping our technicians highly trained ensures that we are still the experts when your vehicle comes in for upgrades or repairs. The class focused on fuel injection, emissions and control strategies for the 6.0 and 6.4 liter Ford Powerstroke engines. The 6.0 can be a difficult engine to work on, it creates a lot of power from a small package, but consistent running changes made to the engine during production makes it one of the most challenging vehicles to maintain and repair.
