Axle Boy's Industrial Powertrain division currently remanfactures automotive, light truck, offhighway, and airport ground service axles. Been extremely busy, haven't had much time to update anything.... here are some pictures of happenings at the shop in april
This Jeep Wrangler JK gets a Dynatrac Pro Rock 44 with Pro Steer Ball joints, 5.13's, Eaton Elocker, some skids, some controls arms and more. The Pro Rock 44 looks like we may finally have a decent upgrade available for the JK wrangler. The option to reuse you old knuckles, breaking system and wheels helps to keep the cost down. Using a Rubicon Locker allws the use of beefier shafts and larger ujoints. We highly recommend the pro steer ball joints, since unfortunately at this time the ball joints remain the same.
The Eaton Posi LSD is the perfect way to control traction in street rods, light duty pickups and all types of tarmac running race cars. The Eaton Posi LSD prevents wheel slip before it can get started. To do that, carbon disc clutch packs, preloaded by a central spring assembly, are located behind each differential side gear. When torque input increases the clamping load on the clutch packs increases. That causes the chatter-free clutch packs to grab and transfer power to the other wheel.
