This LJ Wrangler Rubicon lost a few teeth and a locker. The Techs at Axle Boy will flush the housing, check for integrity, replacing the bearings, the Tru-Lok differential and a fresh set of 4.88's.
The remanufacturing division recently completed the first of many Tug 660 Drive axle overhauls. This program reconditions the front Dana 44 based steering axle and the rear Dana 60 based drive axle. The units are stripped bare, internal bearings and seals are replaced, housings cleaned and reconditioned. The gearsets are tested and brake systems overhauled. Final assembly and Dynometer testing and recoating the assemblies wtih a fresh coat of Industrial powertrain black paint.

Axle Boy's Industrial powrtrain division is currently operating a cellular reconditioning facility refurbishing drive axles ands steering axles for TUG baggage carts. The AxleTech TA267 series non-planetary rigid axle is a 6,000 lb. non-planetary axle engineered to meet the demands of the aircraft baggage tow tractor industry. The assembly line is currently capable of 20 sets per week with a max capacity of 40 assemblies. The axles are stripped and cleaned, the current client is having each assembly standardized for simplicity.
This 99 Grand Cherokee was the unfortunate victim of a curb. Detailed measurement with our proprietary measuring system revealed a bent "c" at the knuckle. This particular axle wasn't cost effective to straighten and was replaced with a seasoned housing. We do offer passenger car and light truck straightening services when cost effective.
