Axle Boy Remanufacturing, globally known for supplying remanufactured Baggage Tug Axles, has been selected as a key supplier by a St. Louis Ground Support Organization. Axle Boy Remanufacturing will refurbish selected TUG MA series baggage tractors to Zero hour.
Key features of the tractors will include
• Engine and Transmission will be overhauled and updated
• Axle Tech TA-267 and Dana 70 drive axles will be restored to Zero Hour
• Rockwell and Brierton steering axles will be renewed to Zero Hour
• Frames, Cabs, and body panels removed, sandblasted, and recoated

This 1971 Malibu with a GM 10 bolt had leaks from the plug welds securing the tubes into the centersection. The techs at axle boy reconditioned the plug welds, reinforced the tube to centersection joint, surfaced and recoated the axle in chassis black enamel.
The techs at Axle Boy overhaul a Nissan Pathfinder rear differential and transfer case.
This LJ Wrangler Rubicon lost a few teeth and a locker. The Techs at Axle Boy will flush the housing, check for integrity, replacing the bearings, the Tru-Lok differential and a fresh set of 4.88's.
The remanufacturing division recently completed the first of many Tug 660 Drive axle overhauls. This program reconditions the front Dana 44 based steering axle and the rear Dana 60 based drive axle. The units are stripped bare, internal bearings and seals are replaced, housings cleaned and reconditioned. The gearsets are tested and brake systems overhauled. Final assembly and Dynometer testing and recoating the assemblies wtih a fresh coat of Industrial powertrain black paint.
Axle Boy technicians finished up an intense diagnostic training program for Ford Powerstroke Diesel. Keeping our technicians highly trained ensures that we are still the experts when your vehicle comes in for upgrades or repairs. The class focused on fuel injection, emissions and control strategies for the 6.0 and 6.4 liter Ford Powerstroke engines. The 6.0 can be a difficult engine to work on, it creates a lot of power from a small package, but consistent running changes made to the engine during production makes it one of the most challenging vehicles to maintain and repair.
This YJ had a bad case of rust near the steering box. Our surgeons neatly removed the cancer and replace the front frame horn.
