Brian installs Piaa lights in the Trailready bumpers on an ultra clean Grand Cherokee. The lights were wired using a custom overlay harness and retained the factory fog lamp switch. During the installation a headlamp conversion was also installed. The last picture shows a close up of the relays added in to overlay the factory harness, allowing for additional amperage draw.
We love working on this 67 Jeepster Commando. This is the coolest old school rig! Simply beautiful, finding parts can be an issue, but working with obsolete Jeep Branded items is one of our specialties.
The past couple weeks have been rushed with last minute modifications to Jeeps for the Midwest Jeep Thing's March Madness in Potosi at the Sayerbrook Bison Ranch.
Missouri Skyjacker dealer, Axle Boy Performance Offroad, installed a Skyjacker 4" suspension lift on this Chevy Colorado. This suspension lift was a good fit, and drove like a dream. The lift gave it the perfect height, and the 4.5" backspacing on the wheels gave it an ideal stance.
One way to handle steering bind on a YJ with a spring over axle lift is to use the Teraflex high steer knuckle conversion. With worn ball joings and tie rod ends, we decided now was the time for some upgrades to our 1995 Wrangler. We installed the Teraflex High Steer Knuckle with new ball joints and a modified Rugged Ridge DOM drag link and rod ends. The drag link is raised over the springs and provideds plently of clearance. The Knuckle is very similiar in design to the later model WJ Grand Cherokee Knuckle, but re uses the stockd drivers side knuckle, brakes, and hub bearings.
Brian installs an Advanced Adapters Rubicrawler crawlbox into a JK Rubicon. The Rubicrawler makes good usage of the wasted empty space in the extension housing of the 42RLE. The Bandless design of the 42RLE allows enough room for an additional 2.72:1 6 planetary gearset with an external actuator for very low crawlratio without adding any addition driveline overall length. The initial impression is a well planned and engineered kit, brackets, shifters, etc. The maching appears accurate and the components are finished and coated appropriately. The whole unit has an "OEM" type feel.
